We encourage everyone to
come out and visit Rural Hill throughout the year. We also invite
you to bring your pets, but we do require that you bring them on a leash no
longer than 3-5 feet.
We also require that if you
decide to bring your pet to visit Rural Hill that you bring the
necessary items (scooper and plastic baggies) to retrieve any bathroom
breaks they may have during your visit.
Unfortunately, during large
public events due to liability, safety of our patrons, health and safety of
your own pet, and the potential distraction it may cause for athletes and
other participants at certain events pets will not be allowed at the
following special events:

 If
you are disabled and need assistance from a service dog, they are certainly
welcome. Proper vaccinations, identification paperwork may be required.
If you are traveling from
out of town and need assistance regarding boarding facilities for your pet
locally, please contact the Catawba Valley Scottish Society staff at Rural
Hill or the
Lake Norman Convention and Visitors Bureau for assistance.
Anyone not complying with
the above rules will be subject to dismissal from the Rural Hill
