PET POLICY

We encourage everyone to come out and visit Rural Hill throughout the year.

PLEASE NOTE:  Pets are not allowed during the following events

·        Rural Hill Scottish Festival & Loch Norman Highland Games

·        Rural Hill Amazing Maize Maze

Other than the events listed above, we invite you to bring your pets, but we do require that you have your dogs on a leash.

We also require that if you decide to bring your pet to visit Rural Hill that you bring the necessary items (scooper and plastic baggies) to retrieve any bathroom breaks they may have during your visit.

Dogs are always welcome at the Rural Hill Sheep Dog Trials and First Footin’.

Special Notes:
If you are disabled and need assistance from a service dog, they are welcome at any event. Proper vaccinations, identification paperwork may be required.

If you are traveling from out of town and need assistance regarding boarding facilities for your pet locally, please contact the Catawba Valley Scottish Society staff at Rural Hill or the Lake Norman Convention and Visitors Bureau for assistance.

Anyone not complying with the above rules will be subject to dismissal from the Rural Hill property.
