Rural Hill
offers a variety of different tours and educational programs
depending on the needs of your school, tour group, club or corporate outing.
Plan to spend
at least 2-3 hours at the farm as we have 240 years of history depicted on
this 265 acre historic farm site. Beyond your tour you may wish to explore
the museum to learn more about the Davidson family, which is located inside
the main house. You can then step across the hallway and visit our
Gift Shop and purchase a souvenir to remind you of your visit
and support the preservation efforts here.
Originally
Rural Hill encompassed several thousand acres. We invite you to
travel down the historic Mill Lane (dating back to the 1700’s) or walk
through the woods on our walking trails which extend 3-4 miles around the
perimeter of present day Rural Hill. It’s a great way to get some outdoor
exercise and experience the beauty of nature.
